Hey there! I’m Alex, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, licensed life insurance agent, and University of South Florida graduate (Go Bulls!). I consider myself a unicorn as just one of only. 5% of Black women who hold both the CPA and CFP certifications)—a decade in public accounting left me burnt out and craving a more fulfilling path. AGA Tax & Consulting Services, a boutique firm, was founded to empower entrepreneurs through strategic tax planning and financial makeovers.
More than just a numbers whiz, I am also a best-selling author of “Awareness Put Me On”, 2024 Sarasota Chamber Minority Business of the Year finalist, Goldman Sachs OMBW BIB Graduate, and passionate financial empowerment coach. I understand the struggles of a messy financial situation firsthand. As a single mom of 2 beautiful daughters, I climbed out of a $50,000 debt hole to build a net worth exceeding $300,000.
With empathy and expertise, I equip clients with the tools to achieve their goals via online workshops, courses, live events, and retreats. My mission is to empower, inspire, and educate so they can walk confidently towards their purpose of achieving wealth, happiness, health, and wholeness. I currently reside in Bradenton, Florida with my 2 daughters.

I am the proud mom of two beautiful daughters, Gianna and Amiyah.
Once upon a time I was an overworked single mom that missed many years of my daughter’s life climbing the corporate ladder. Plagued with feelings of stress, overwhelm, and drowning in debt, I only dreamed of being fully present with my daughters and provide a luxurious and stable life for them. I’m happy to report I was able to pull myself out of over $50,000 in debt to build my net worth to over $300,000. This type of life and professional experience could not just be limited to preparing taxes for the rest of my life. I desired more flexibility and impact!
Today I enjoy midday massages at the Ritz Carlton, playtime with her youngest daughter, supporting my eldest daughter to navigate college. The icing on the cake is now serving other incredible women to get their finances in order so that they can live just as luxuriously as they desire and build a lasting legacy.
I love to travel to the Caribbean and Blue Ridge mountains in GA are some of my favorite destinations.
